Camera & Album: Application needs access to your device’s camera and photo album to take photos for scanning purposes.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is the information or data that can be linked to a user or persistently linked to a mobile device. We only collect the following types of PII when you install the application:
Passive Information: Information that your computer or mobile phone and your browser send automatically while you are browsing our website or using our application. We collect information such as your device serial number, IP address, and user interests.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Non Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) includes information such as the type of operating system and application build that you use. Non-PII is used to help troubleshoot any user issues.
We use a third-party, Google/Firebase Analytics library, to anonymously collect the data regarding various actions a user takes while using the FlashScan mobile application. This helps us to improve our services and to figure out what features are being used. It is not used for third-party marketing purposes.
How Your Information Can Be Used?
By using the FlashScan application, you (User) agree and grant authorization, for data collection and processing your information (including the device and software user information, personal information and other content uploaded by you(user).
Specifically, the image/information/data/document regarding the uploaded/used content, you warrant that you have the intellectual property involved therein or have obtained the relevant license and there is no violation of third party’s right. The information is only used for the optimization of software interface interaction. No information will be used or disclosed.
Also, you understand and acknowledge that any information you make public because of your personal choice or FlashScan's default setting (e.g. the document and user name you share) can be browsed, reposted, and commented on by other users of our services.
However, you may protect your valuable information/data by deciding whether to upload certain information, and whether to turn on the specific function of the mobile application, FlashScan.
To stop harassment due to misuse of personal information/data by others, we suggest you pay attention and familiarize yourself with the functional setting of FlashScan. The default setting is offered considering industry standards, the general need of most users and product type.
It may be possible that what suits most users does not meet your particular requirements.
The feedback and reviews received from Google Play Store or App Store can be shared on social media platforms. Thus, we request users to review the privacy policies of social media platforms carefully and understand clearly what information is collected, shared and used by these social media providers while using our mobile application-FlashScan.
We do not, in any way, provide/sell/rent your personal information/data/details to anyone. If we use your information/data under any situation other than that specified herein, we will receive your prior consent.

Our application may include links to websites or content from other third-party businesses. However, we are not liable and cannot be held responsible for the policies they practice. Our application may include links to various social media platforms where you can share information about the application. How We Use, Store and Share the Information We Collect?
The data is stored on our secure servers in an encrypted form. We do not share this data with anyone else, not even any third-party.
In addition to the purposes described above, we may use email addresses to provide notifications, the announcement of new features or new products or any future amendments to this Privacy Policy. We also may use non-PII information and your email to analyze usage, to improve current and future product offerings, communicate with you about our services comprising order management and billing.

The services contained in this section enable us to monitor and analyze app traffic and it can be used to track app User behavior.
Google Analytics/Firebase (Google Inc.)
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
Push Notifications
We send Push Notifications through Firebase.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 18 years old unless permitted to do so by applicable law. Children are not permitted to use our services/application unless their parents or guardians are aware of it. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information in our database. PURCHASES
FlashScan offers access to certain premium features and services through a subscription model. By subscribing for our premium services and features, you agree to pay the full price due and incurred by you in the usage of your purchased services. All the In-App purchases are made through the Google Play Store and App Store(iOS).
More information about how you may manage or enable/disable In-App purchase using your device may be mentioned in the respective App Store Provider’s terms and Conditions/EULA, online or in the help settings of your device. If you are a parent or guardian of someone under the age of 18 and is concerned about making excessive In-app purchases by your child, then we recommend you to consider parental control that may be offered by the App Store Provider.
Payment Security
We DO NOT collect any payment information on our application. It is collected and processed in a secured manner by third-party payment gateways. We follow reasonable industry standards, technical measures and procedural measures to protect against unauthorized access and use of your supplied information. However, you should know that neither we nor any other application can fully eliminate all the risks.
ADVERTISING
Ads services allow User Data to be utilized for advertising communication purposes displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on this Application, possibly based on User interests. This does not mean that all Personal Data is used for this purpose.
